Three months ago, when war broke out in Ukraine, millions of families fled their homes. Forced to move or become refugees in neighbouring countries, they have long journeys ahead to rebuild their lives and search for some normality and stability.
Thanks to CARE’s incredible supporters, we have been able to help them on their journeys — greeting them at international borders with warm meals, clean water, blankets and other essential supplies, counselling services, and of course: hope and love.
Watch this heartwarming video to see just some of the ways your generosity is helping Ukrainian refugees feel at home in Poland. CARE has partnered with Polish Humanitarian Action and the Polish Center for International Aid to ensure as many families as possible receive much needed support.
CARE is continuing its vital work in Poland, other neighbouring countries, and — of course — in Ukraine itself, where so many people remain in urgent need. Thank you so much for helping provide this lifesaving support.
